9-16-02 Woo-hoo!! Now you're just as famous as that curly-headed hippy dude artist that used to be on PBS (Not to mention infinitely more talented)!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Chuckie Charles
9-17-02 Fantastic! Happy Birthday Grandma! Where can I get one of these paintings for my home? They are all beautiful. Thank you Uncle John and Aunt Sue for putting this wonderful website up. What a great way to show the world what our Grandma/Mother/Sister/Friend can create with such incredible talent. This is amazing! Love, Lauren
9-17-02 John this is awesome. What a wonderful gift!!! I only hope that my own children will someday do something like this for me. Of course, I hate to think of what it will look like!! When do we get to come over and take the Sahuaro trip down memory lane???????? We can't wait!
9-19-02 Happy birthday, Mrs. Stewart! What a wonderful tribute to your artistry and talent. I particularly like your style. Great use of color and composition is very well balanced. The still lifes made my mouth water! I look forward to meeting you someday soon. I'm a friend of your son, John. Many happy returns, Brad Zinn
9-22-02 Is this great or what? Sorry we are late to post happy birthday messages, but on our previous visits to the site, there was no guest book. Congratulations and love from all of the Formichellas!!

10-9-02 Barbara and John, I've seen some of the paintings that are still in her home. I'm glad to be able to see some of the ones that "got away". She's an easy touch, isn't she John. The web site is very professionally done by a loving son. Ed Stepanian

WOW BARBARA!! These are beautiful!! I had no idea you were so talented....I should've saved the fingerpaintings you helped me with when I was 3....could've been worth some $$$$ about now!! Give love to your family from ours...we got Mom (Konnie) a computer for Christmas so she'll be checking your web-site soon! Love from Annie Kay Russell! P.S. I haven't seen you in forever and you still look FABULOUS!!
You must continue to work hard and ultimately to make your children wealthy. Good luck.
Hi Barbara, what wonderful paintings! I am so glad JOhn did this, what a joy to be able to see your work in this way. Sherry
I love this website. Barbara is a "water pool" friend and I just learned of this site this week. It is great!!! I especially love the two flower paintings- 1963 and 1965 and the two Iris paintings. Fantastic work! And lovely webiste! Ruth Parker
My favorite is the portrait of your famously handsome eldest son, Charles. Oh, wait... there isn't a portrait of your famously handsome eldest son Charles! What's with that?!? Love, your famously handsome eldest son, Charles
Hi, Barbara! I love the website your son has put together for you, and have enjoyed looking at some of your paintings this Sunday morn. They certainly reflect the vibrant spirit that is you! Love, Marilyn
Dear Aunt Barb: It was wonderful to see you last month. Thank you so much for coming to see us and bringing everyone. We really appreciate them taking the time to come see us on such short notice. It is great to have such fun and interesting family. Your art work is really fantastic. Next time we are out we would love to see your studio. I bet your home is full of beautiful works of art. We just bought a new TV before visiting Phoenix. We have yet to figure out everything including how to hook up the DVD player back up. We will get there and when we do we will start reviewing the videos to find some footage of Uncle Chuck. I know we have some and we will work on it. Hopefully you will visit this summer and we can send you back with some video. Also I have failed to follow up on the "Two Brothers Arrested". I will get around to finding it. It should be a real hoot. When we returned to Detroit there had been a huge early March snow fall. It was great cleaning off the car without gloves that night before we could leave the airport. Although the following weekend I did take one last lovely ski through the Pinkney recreation area. Spring has finally come to the north country and we really hope to see this summer. Say hi to everyone. Love, Bill(y) and Wesen.
Hi Barbara, Enjoy seeing how your painting style has evolved over the years. Something about these remind me of Bonnard. Keep up the wonderful work! Martha Steinacker P.S. Fabulous job on John as well. I see where some of the talent comes from.:-)
Very nice site!
Too many compliments too little space, thanks!
Rawr!! Rawr!!!

Great art work, Barbara. Kudos!!
Rest in peace, dearest Mother. We love you always.
Beautiful, Awesome. The world has lost a gracious artist, and heaven has gained an awesome, creative artist. God grant your soul eternal rest, peace, serenity & tranquility.
