The Court of Flowers inhabited the east end of the mall. Note Ferdinand the Bull in the foreground at left, the Sidewalk Cafe in the background, the flowery ceiling sculture at upper right, and the entrance to Korricks at far right. |
Early view of Ferdinand and friend. Ferdinand was one of two sculptures produced by Jac T Bowen for Chris-Town (see Beginnings).
Sidewalk Cafe, December 1961. The cafe, with its sunken seating and large copper hood, disappeared after a few years and was replaced
by a legendary food court that featured businesses like Orange Julius and Pizza D'Amore.
Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant opened a location in the east end of Chris-Town near the Court of Flowers in 1968.
